Fuzion™ Welcomes Twins to The Family Tuner Tire Brand has Two New Faces
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 2, 2004) - They don't walk alike or talk alike, and they're not cousins, but they are two-of-a-kind. "FUZ" and "NOIZ" - the tuner twins - are the new faces of the Fuzion™ performance tire brand by Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT).
"Just don't call them mascots," said Michael Fluck, advertising and Internet manager, BFNT. "They're not into goofy costumes and pep rallies. Like Fuzion, they're all about the scene, and just being themselves."
The twins are also about promoting the growing Fuzion brand, including the Fuzion ZRi and new Fuzion HRi performance line of tires. Fuzion has hired "FUZ" and "NOIZ" to serve as company spokes-creatures for the coming year. They will be primarily responsible for building on the momentum of the brand's highly successful launch - an all-out promotional blitz that took the sport compact car and custom auto scene by storm in 2004.
"FUZ and NOIZ bring a unique, creative energy to Fuzion," said Fluck. "Together, we're going to continue to do things the market has never seen before. The twins were born to be Fuzion. We couldn't have created a more perfect pair.
"FUZ and NOIZ are symbolic of every guy and girl on the scene with a genuine passion for the custom automotive lifestyle," he added. "They're everyday enthusiasts, just like everyone else - except for having green skin. Well, that, and FUZ doesn't wear pants, but it's all about being yourself, anyway!"
According to Fluck, the twin's origin remains a mystery.
"They claim to be from Orange County," he said. "We're not so sure, but orange does happen to be the new color for the Fuzion HRi, so the story fits

Regardless of where home is exactly, the twins have found a new one with Fuzion.
"It will be an exciting year," said Fluck. "We're going to make some serious NOIZ!"
